As a freelance artist I know sometimes it's helpful to have another set of eyes/ears take a walk through a new work, sketch, concept, or life plan. One of the things I'm most grateful for is the opportunity to help young composers make discoveries about who they are and what they can do. Teaching at the HighSCORE Festival in Italy for the last eight years, as well as at the Longy School of Music where I am on faculty, has given me the opportunity to meet and work with about 300 young composers (links to a handful of current and previous students below). These experiences have given me a lot of joy over the years. Not everyone has the means to have regularly occurring mentorship, or to attend a summer festival overseas, so I provide one on one meetings online. If you are interested in learning more, click on 'contact' above and I'll be happy to send you information about coaching session fees and durations - there are several options to choose from.
Talk to you soon,
