Text/Music collaborations have featured the following poets:
- - Mariko Nagai was commissioned in 2010 to write the text for (speak to me) for vocalizing pianist. Mariko is an award-winning author and poet and is a founding member, with Amy, of the new music-theatre ensemble HOWL which focuses on hybrid arts collaboration.
- - Walter Bargen is the author of the poem, "Hall of Waters" from The Vertical River. In this article, Bargen talks about the resulting choral piece (of the same name) performed in Kansas City, MO in 2010 as part of the Missouri Verses and Voices Festival. Performance VIDEO. Jordan Jacks is the author of "Real April" which inspired the 2nd movement of little falling red ("the wolf"). He is a fiction writer and poet living in Saint Louis, Missouri. His work has appeared in The Yale Review, Weekday, and The Connecticut Review. He teaches undergraduate writing at Washington University in St. Louis.
