Very pleased and excited to announce the creation of HOWL, a new kind of performing ensemble.
Lindsay Kesselman and I are heading up this ensemble (as well as its related record label, Bad Wolf Music)
which will have its debut event in the 2014-15 season.
Also, our debut recording project is Lindsay's album
"If this world could stop" which you can read about here.
Shortly after this, a CD of my works, "speak to me," will be released. Both recording projects,
as well as the development of our first HOWL event, are currently underway and
we couldn't be more excited!

Just received a 2011 Fromm Commission from
Harvard University Press Release. It will be an honor to compose a song cycle
for TwoSense (Lisa Moore, piano; and Ashley Bathgate, cello)
It's an exciting season with three world premieres on the way.
First, the incomparable Tim Munro presents his commissioned work Pirouette on a Moon Sliver
at the SONiC Festival at the Miller Theatre in NYC. Tim is a real "triple threat" as a flutist, vocalist, and actor
- and it was great fun for me to write a piece that makes use of all these talents
in a character study for a larger work for eighth blackbird.
On the same night (Oct 15) in Bowling Green, OH,
Conrad Lawrence Chu will conduct the Bowling Green Philharmonia
in the world premiere of e.t.e.r.n.i.t.y. for vocalizing orchestra.
And last but not least, Vicki Ray will present her commissioned work
(speak to me), a theatre piece for vocalizing pianist.
OHhhhh - we're gonna have some fun!
